Vintage Collectibles:Toys:Sewing:Electric:Miniature:Girl

This toy sewing machine was made by Lindstrom Tool and Toy Company of Bridgeport, Connecticut. The patent number dates it to 1931. The body and majority of parts are made of steel; the body from stamped and bent sheet, painted with a wood-grain finish. The wheel is cast pot metal. This was run by electric and the cord is included. I had a friend plug it in :-) and the motor hums but the spindle does not turn. That's all I know about that.
