SALE Pair of Art Deco Inspired Chalkware Statuettes, Ladies in Hats

$58 USD SaleSALE Pair of Art Deco Inspired Chalkware Statuettes, Ladies in Hats

Collectibles:Figurines:Chalkware:Plaster:Figurine:Statue
This charming pair of plaster or chalkware figurines epitomize the Art Deco style of the 30's. The two redheads are posed similarly but notice the subtle differences in the necklines of the gowns. Both are about 9" tall and stand on a 4" by 2" base. The gowns are a creamy ivory color with gold sashes and neckline jewelry and both are wearing gold shoes. They are in very nice condition with a scrape on the hem of one dress that occurred prior to painting and a paint chip on the forehead of the ...
SALE Clearance!! Hummel Figurine "Angel Duet" #261

$85 USD SaleSALE Clearance!! Hummel Figurine "Angel Duet" #261

Collectibles:Figurines:Goebel:Figurine
This lovely Hummel figurine was designed by Gerhard Skrobek and introduced in 1968. It's aptly entitled "Angel Duet" as it depicts two sweet little angels intent on their songbook. It measures 5" tall and sits on a 2 1/4" base which is stamped with trademark 4 (1964-72), the model number (261), painters mark and the date, 1968. There are no chips, cracks or repairs but a fair amount of crazing...also a small piece of clay has escaped inside as it has a tiny rattle. Although, in my opinion, the ...

Collectibles:Figurines:Goebel:Figurine
This charming Hummel figurine was originally modeled in 1935. This one has Trademark 5 which dates it from 1972-79. It looks brand new as the colors are very vivid and there is no crazing and, of course, no chips, cracks or repairs. Besides the trademark, there is an incised 15/0, 25 and a small painted artists mark on the bottom. This measures 5" tall and the base is 2 1/4" in diameter.
SALE A Pair of Ceramic Planter Figures, Dutch Boy and Girl, made by Hedi Schoop

$100 USD SaleSALE A Pair of Ceramic Planter Figures, Dutch Boy and Girl, made by Hedi Schoop

Collectibles:Figurines:Ceramics:Figurines:Statue:California Pottery
The hand painted descriptions on the bases of these figurines give us a brief glimpse into the life of the couple who originally owned them. 'Dottie' has named them after herself and her husband 'Bill' and gives details of receiving them as a wedding gift in 1945. She names the co-workers who gave them and says that the figures "look like us in 1945". Dottie and Bill must have been cute because this pair certainly is. The girl flirts unmercifully while the boy tries, in vain, to look nonchalant ...
Kitschy Ceramic Pheasant Planter, Imported from Japan by Artmark

$25 USDKitschy Ceramic Pheasant Planter, Imported from Japan by Artmark

Collectibles:Figurines:Bird Figurine:Animal
Here's a pheasant figurine from the fifties ready to class up your desk or bookshelf. It is hollow and intended to be a planter. (Sometimes I wonder about the plethora of planters that were produced around mid 20th century. Everything! was a planter...head vases, TV lamps..and I don't believe many of them were ever used for plants!) Anyway, this little guy never got planted. He is clean inside and out and, surprising, free of any damage. This light weight ceramic is very susceptible to chips but ...
