This is an Original Pre - Production Pen and Ink - Watercolor .

Date Stamped on the Back - APR 28 1942

I believe it was painted for THE ART NOVELTY CO. based out of NYC. in 1942. While the company stamp is not on this particular painting , the painting is similiar in style and age to the other STAMPED paintings I have listed in my store.

The painting is on Heavy paper stock measuring 14 " X 10 1/2 "

This card depicts a Chick painting a picture of an Egg while two Bunnies play peek a boo behind the Egg!

There is slight soil along the parimeter of the paper, The Original rice sheet paper is still attatched to the painting!

We have recently purchased a large amount of Original Greeting Card Art work done in the early 1940's . some are in full color some are back and white ink and watercolor ALL are wonderful! I will be listing them daily so please come and check back for more!
