Black Velvet Box Purse

This wonderful velvet purse probably dates to the 1940s based on the style. It is a three quarters round structured box purse, the exterior in black velvet with a black fabric interior. The front is studded with a simple line of clear round rhinestones. Inside, it includes two pockets, an attached change purse, and a small mirror, and it has a gold tone clasp. It is in very good condition with no tears in the fabric. There is a bit of wear to the nap of the velvet on two corners, primarily in the back, and the clasp has some wear marks on the gold tone. It measures about 7 1/2" across.
