This is a fabulous piece from the Victorian era. The hand shape was quite popular in the late 1800s. This example measures 1 3/4" long, and is hand carved out of mother of pearl. It is embellished with a small paste "gem" that is being held by the hand, and trimmed in gold tone metal. It secures with a c-clasp, and is in very good condition.
