Its always hard to be sure of the age on items like this - it could date anywhere from the Victorian Era to mid 20th century. Stylistically, it could easily be victorian, but the material is supple and it is in fantastic condition, which suggests the later vintage. Our source told us it is victorian, and the estate from which we received it did indeed have many items of that age.

The bag is hand crocheted out of a medium thickness thread, and has a woven-in tie at the top. It has a design of a single flower on each side, and a bit of a border. It is good sized - the bag measures about 10" long.
