This is a lovely little girl's dress, very light and airy. It dates to about 1930, and is in excellent condition. The fabric is quite sheer, so it would be worn over a sheath or slip. The fabric feels like a cotton gauze, but there is no label to confirm. It is sleeveless, with heavy gathering at the waist. There is some pleating around the bottom of the skirt. The neckline is quite lovely. It has a slight scoop neck with a double-layered handkerchief collar, trimmed in pretty lace. It secures in the back with a single button at neck and one at the waist.

Measurements: Waist, - 20"; shoulders -14"; chest - 28", length - 27 1/2".
