From an old Pittsburgh estate - these is an awesome pair of Victorian lady's lace up boots. They are in black polished leather, with a stacked leather heel. They lace up the front, and have the original laces - although one is an ancient replacement, because they don't match one another! The laces are black, steel tipped, and in good shape.

The interior is lined in a white thick canvas-like fabric. The bottom of the insides has a leather lining

These shoes are in fabulous condition. The exterior leather is in great shape, not brittle or cracking at all. There are no tears or wear spots, bit there is a little bit of scuffing on toes that would be completely hidden with polish.

These shoes could easily be worn, but you would have to have a petite foot. The bottom of shoe measures 9.5" from point of toe to the heel, which probably makes them about a size 6 1/2. But they are quite narrow, measuring about 2 3/4" wide at the ball. This probably equates to an "AA" or "AAA" width.

There is some labeling in these shoes. They are marked "J&T Cousins Co, NY", and the characters "4b-6696-2030" are hand written on the inside.
