REDUCED 1930s Velvet and Lace Dress

This item comes from the 1930's, and is in excellent condition. It is made from black velvet, with a off white lace collar. It has a side opening with snap closures. The upper arms have a good deal of smocking. This opens into a wide bell sleeve, which is again gathered into a wide cuff at the wrist. The cuffs close with velvet covered buttons. The top has a neck opening that closes with a double snap at the neck. There is some slight gathering at the front & back waist on the bodice, with a slight drop in the front. The skirt has a lovely trumpet flair with gored panels.

Measurements: This dress is an approximate size 8-10. Waist - 29"; shoulder - 14"; bust - 40" at the underarm; length from collar - 46".
