This is a PIPE CLAY AND CEMENT RELIGIOUS ICON-CAMEO OF JESUS.HIS DISCIPLES WITH MARY AND CHILDREN.

This is the largest one I have ever seen.It is 13 by 16 and weighs around 6 pounds.There are 14 figures in it and more faint faces in the background.They are very finely carved and molded out of the clay..These were items from the Grand Tour around 1880.The piece is poured and carved and in excellent condition.No broken pieces and the glass dome is in great shape.The back could use a nice covering but I will leave that to the buyer.I have painted the back black since the pictures.Because of extra weight the postage is higher on this item.Please excuse the glare. These are very hard to find and sought after by collectors.
