I love Asian influenced pendants and when I saw this one I thought it was so whimsical and fun! The pendant is Serpentine measuring 2 inches by 1 1/2 inch. The carving features two Asian children playing with a cat/dog, flying a kite. This necklace could be a piece that brings to mind your own children... the joy of childhood or just a unique conversation piece. The body of the necklace starts with an olive green Serpentine rondelle. Ocean Jasper ovals swirl with colors of greens, brown and hints of orange and turquoise. I added 1/2 inch copper rectangles and copper rounds for a strong glimmer, mottled wooden rounds for an earthy feel and glass turquoise rounds for an eye catching splash of color. This 18 inch necklace closes with a copper 'S' hook clasp. Matching earrings feature the turquoise glass beads, copper rounds, wood beads and Ocean Jasper ovals dangling to 1 1/4 inch below a copper leverback earwire.
