Goodoletom, your best source for fine quality collectibles is pleased to offer this eye catching 10K yellow gold and amethyst tennis bracelet. The stones are a beautiful deep color and really pop!
Amethyst, the February birthstone, has been treasured back to antiquity. The name amethyst is derived from the Greek word meaning "sobriety", which led to the myth that drinking wine from an amethyst cup would prevent drunkenness. Please do NOT test this myth while driving a chariot of any sort!
Amethyst was thought to be a protector for soldiers and wearing it would ensure victory in battle. On a more peaceful side,it was rumored to protect the wearer against diseases, control evil thoughts, heighten spirituality and increase one's intelligence.
This piece is unsigned but beautifully crafted. It is stamped 10K gold and features twenty two 5x4 millimeter oval faceted stones (total carat weight 4.5) all prong set onto a flexible bracelet. It has a push lock clasp with a figure 8 safety catch.
The bracelet is in mint condition with no missing or chipped stones, damage or repairs. It measures 3/16 inch across, 7 1/2 inches long and weighs 5.7 grams.
This item will make a really nice stocking stuffer gift. Or think ahead for a perfect February birthday gift! Our prices really beat out retail at your local fine jeweler and we guarantee your satisfaction!
