Maker/Mark: R.H. (Robert Hanke), Royal Wettina, Austria
Date: Mark dates approximately 1882 - 1914
Pattern: Each vase is transfer decorated with works by Bartolome Esteban Murillo, a Spanish artist (1618 - 1682). One vase has the Melon Eaters on it and the other has the Dice Throwers and Single Melon Eater.
Size: 8 inches in height and approximately 5 inches in diameter at the widest part.
Condition: Very good condition with overall light crazing. The Dice Thrower vase has a paint chip/nick at the base rim, see photo. Some gold loss to the gold trim on the top rim.
We acquired this rare vase pair together and we felt they should stay together. Quite a find!
