French Ribbon Rose decorated Basket c 1920-30's

This lovely basket is covered in peachy pink fabrics and decorated with satin ribbon and peach french ribbon rose trim. The commercially made trim has been hand painted! It is gorgeous! These were used to hold vanity items, baby items and gifts. The basket is broken in front (see photo damage enhanced between arrows) but it displays beautifully and is a very hard to find large sized item. There is some surface dust. The measurement from the topside 16 1/2" X 13 1/2". It is 4" tall overall and the depth is 3".
