Wooden Dog Push Puppet c 1940’s

This green spotted dog push puppet is only 2 3/4“ tall to the tip of his tail and just adorable! His condition is only good/fair as he had some water damage due to poor storage (mainly to wood and card base) and his tongue is missing – which could be replaced with a bit of felt. His ears are made of celluloid and he has a wool puff at the end of his tail. There is some dark staining to base and neck as they were not painted and the stamped Italy on the cardboard bottom is no longer present. He smells a bit tipsy - as very strong Vodka was used to clean the mold spots off of his base. He is bargain priced, as I usually sell for $42. this type of puppet.
