This wooden box with printed lid is in very good condition for it's age. There is a small water mark on the front lip of the lid and some minor wear. Inside the box is a boar bristle and celluloid clothes brush. The box will only close if the brush is wedged under the back (see first photo of the open box), if it is not (as in the 2nd open box photo) it will not shut all the way. The box measures 2 1/2" tall and 3 3/8" wide. The wood joints are glued with old hide glue and the lid is hinged on two brass pins.
