This composition Red Cross Nurse doll is 7" tall. She is marked on her back MBC. MBC is the marking of a New York company, Beehler Arts Doll Company. They manufactured composition storybook dolls during the 1940's. Her original clothing is firmly attached to her. There is some moth damage to her cape and it has faded from navy blue to violet. Her face paint is bright and pretty, there is a small paint rub on nose and a few tiny chipped bits of paint on shoe bottom. She has some fine crazing, but is good condition overall.
