Italian Cloth Doll tagged Made in Italy for B. Altman & Co.

This c 1940-50's Italian Cloth Doll is from a small collection of Eros dolls - this one is missing her Eros tag. She is identical in facial features, etc. to the tagged dolls I've seen in her size. She is a large 11 " tall. She is all cloth with a hand painted mask face. Under her skirt she is tagged: Made in Italy for B. Altman and Company. There are some condition problems: She has some brown spotting on her face and soles of her shoes are missing. There is fading to her once navy blue skirt and minor surface soil to costume. There is a bit of wear to the costume (few pin holes, worn spots), but it is good overall. There are two tiny worn spots on face (chin and cheek). She has wool knitting in one hand and is missing her needles in the other - I will replaced with toothpicks.
