I cannot begin to tell you how gorgeous these are..and in near mint condition too! In fact, I have kept them for myself for two years even though they are not in any of the areas I personally collect.....they are just too beautiful not to have out and enjoy. There are four cups and four saucers, tea size. The outsides of the cups and saucers are black, with bands of raised white pin-dots, the handles and edges are rimmed with gold. Inside the cups and in the centers of the saucers are hand-painted roses in blush pink, rose red, copper, green and yellow....all accented and outlines with metallic gold. ok, now I will tell you why they are 'near' mint.....on the undersides of the handles......and inside the handles......the black is worn off from fingers rubbing against the glaze. Hardly noticeable at all!!
