Victorian jade and gold bar pin

This is a beautiful brooch or pin that I have kept on my desk for a year or so just so I could enjoy it before letting it go to a new owner. It is good sized at 2-3/4" X 1/2" with a lovely piece of translucent green jade. The frame is gold but I am not good at reading the karat......so am only guaranteeing that it is at least 10K. There is a 'C' clasp, a little hook and ring on the back so we know that it originally had a tiny chain and small pin attached to function as a 'safety' if the bar brooch tried to fall off your clothing. On each side of the front are engraved initials and depending on which way you turn the brooch they are either 'N.Z." or "Z.N.". Please look closely at the pictures, this pin is in wonderful condition and anyone would be proud to own and wear it today!
