This is a very pretty Lefton China teapot in their popular Rose Chintz pattern. This is the later (circa 1970's) version of Rose Chintz that has small lavender flowers as well as the big pink roses. It holds about 4 1/2 8 oz cups when filled right to the top. 4 7/8" tall without The lid, or 6 3/8" tall to the top of the finial. Perfect condition with no chips, nicks, or cracks. There is some significant wear to the gold at the top of the handle, but very little wear elsewhere. The gold trim on the spout is on only one side, which is normal for these. Nice and clean inside, no stains or crazing. Has a partial "Lefton Japan" label on the bottom, as well as a gold mark reading "Lefton China hand painted 7236."
