This is a gorgeous piece of Blue Willow, made by Doulton & Co. between 1891 and 1902. (before they became Royal Doulton) It's in perfect condition with no chips, nicks, or cracks. No stains or crazing. It's 7 1/4" tall and about 4 3/4" maximum diameter, not including the handle. It's bigger than it sounds, and holds about 7 cups. Marked on the bottom with the Doulton mark & "Doulton Burslem Made in England Willow." I don't know whether to call it "flow blue" or not. The blue does have some flow, but not as much as many Doulton pieces. One of my Blue Willow books shows this piece and does not identify it as "flow blue," yet the same book pictures other Doulton pieces that don't have any more "flow" than this one does, and calls them flow blue. At any rate, it's a stunning piece, and will be a highlight in any Blue Willow collection.
