This is a Fenton #4438 Thumbprint basket in ruby red. These were made from 1969 on into the 80's. No Fenton logo on this one, which would place It in the very early part of that range. Perfect condition, with no chips, nicks, or cracks, and little or no sign of use. The handle rings well when tapped. 8 1/2" in diameter and 8" tall to the top of the handle. The pictures look a little too "orangey" due to the bright sunlight. The color is a strong, consistent ruby red, and doesn't show any orange or yellow except on the edge of the collar base.
