This is the prettiest of vintage crystal high domed covered dish in the pin wheel design. It is Early American pressed glass and can be used for butter or cheese. The plate is 7 3/4" across and has a saw tooth design around a scallop edge. There is an interior rim that keeps the lid in place. Cranberry Glass is a favorite of mine, so when I came across this one lovely tumbler, I could not resist. This 4" tall glass has a ridged interior every half inch that gives it extra sparkle when the light hits it. Around the top is a border is a design of diamond shapes made of yellow dots. Beautiful hand blown amethyst glass decanter with polished pontil on the bottom, made in Italy and hand painted lavishly with gold in flourishes and flowers.
