The huge pendant is removable and can be worn separately. In truth this ensemble can be worn 3 different ways, with the pendant, without the pendant or wear the pendant alone on a separate chain.

The color is light or Mint green with Amber color rhinestone accents and huge Emerald cut Smoky Quartz color rhinestones. The background metal is gold plated although some areas show a reddish patina. This necklace is fully plated, the color variation is due to patina. I cleaned a great deal of the patina off but some is still left. It is up to the new owner to decide whether or not to remove it.

The removable pendant opens in the back with a built in custom designed tongue and groove clasp. It measures, when closed, 4 1/2" long. That is the measurement you would see when worn.

Necklace is 17" in length and has a double clasp. There are 2 hook clasps, one at each end of the necklace. One clasp has a rhinestone at the end. The bib portion is 4 1/2" long at the center with the pendant in place. It measures 1" wide without the pendant. The swag area is 2" long.

I showed this necklace to someone who specializes in Czech pieces. It is absolutely not Czech, it is American made and circa 1960s. Unfortunately, the designer did not sign it.

Necklace and pendant are in excellent vintage condition. A truly unique set!
