"Creations from the Soul"

Jennifer Camara (moi, a Gemini herself) has been creating beaded and semi-precious creations for over 10 years. I started when I endlessly searched for jewelry to match my bridesmaids dresses for my wedding and there was nothing to be found!
I had dabbled and made beaded elastic bracelets before so I finally decided to take a crack at it and made necklaces and earrings for my bridesmaids. It was a success!

After that I was hooked and was drawn to the beauty of the various shapes, colors and textures of glass, crystal and semi-precious beads. After creating many more pieces as a hobby, I decided to sell some jewelry in auctions and at jewelry fairs. I did fairly well and always had happy customers but decided to try a different venue.

This year I am really trying to put all my "extra time" into creating jewelry. Being a SAHM with an active 3 year old boy, a very very very strong willed 6 year old daughter and a husband who works long hours...that extra time is usually slim. But my love for jewelry making surpasses my lack of time and has me dreaming of creations in the middle of the night!

My six year old daughter also enjoys making jewelry and I have to watch out for her because she always wants to use my favorite gemstones! I ask her all day " Wouldn't you like to make jewelry?" But...most of the time the answer is "No, Mommy play Barbie dolls with me." I will sneak my jewelry making in with a little coaxing. Her Barbie's do have hand made necklaces.

I really want this to become my full-time job when my two children are in school. What happiness it would bring me to be able to do what I love and bring joy to people at the same time.
