We have been in business since 1997 offering a wide variety of antiquarian and collectible books and paper items.
Titles include Scaramouche (the sweeping tale of the French Revolution); Mistress Wilding; Bardely's The Magnificent; The Sea-Hawk; The Snare; Captain Blood and The Banner and The Bull.
This is a partial, but consecutive, set which numbers beyond 20 volumes in its entirety. We had a complete one once, but I cannot remember the total number of volumes. Here we have Volumes I through VII of a very handsome edition originally published in 1921 and here in 1924. Burgundy boards show virtually no wear aside from a few little spots of darkening at edges.Gilt printing at spine is crisp and bright. Top exterior page edges also gilded and pages are clean with no names or writing and no foxing.
Four illustrations per volume, including one at frontis of each protected by clean tissue, all from the drawings of Charles E. Brock. Books measures 5-1/2"x8". Very nice!
We have quoted for U.S. media, but if faster shipping is required please email with zip code, as UPS will most likely be the cheapest way to accomplish this.
Overseas orders welcome, but shipping will be very costly, as books are too large for the flat rate packaging. Email with location for quote.
