Our Service Pledge To You:
We Guarantee All Of Our Items To Be As Described and respond to all orders within 24 hours. We accept credit card payments through Paypal. An account is not needed to use their service and it is free for you to use.

We ship within 24 hours of receiving a secure payment such as a Money Order or Paypal. We ship the same day as long as a secure payment is received before 12 pm EST, Monday through Friday. Items paid for on Saturday and after 12 noon EST on Fridays, will ship the following Monday or Tuesday if Monday is a National Holiday.

We package all our items with tissue paper, bubble wrap, and Styrofoam popcorn. We Never charge a handling fee only the actual cost to ship an item to you.
 
Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
Buyer pays for shipping, handling, and insurance unless otherwise stated. We can not be responsible for items that are not insured. We recommend that you always insure your item. We package our items very carefully yet sometimes unfortunately items are damaged in the mail. If you need to return an item please follow the Return Policy by sending the package and contents back in the same way as sent and Fully Insured.

We ship Priority mail mainly, Parcel Post if the cost difference is great, and smaller items by First Class Mail. For International buyers, we prefer to ship using insured USPS Priority Mail International. If you prefer another method of shipment, please let us know. All Customs Duties and Taxes are the full responsibility of the buyer. We will try our best to keep the shipping costs as low as possible.

We will send you a confirmation e-mail, or one from Paypal will be sent, when we ship your item. If for some reason you do not hear from us please e-mail or call us to let us know. Paypal payments are expected within 3 days, money orders or checks are to be received within 7 to 10 days unless another arrangement has been agreed upon. Thank you!

Restocking Fee:
If we have made a mistake In the description then there is no restocking fee and we will not charge the Original charge for shipping the item to you. You Must Fully Insure Your Purchase Order When Returning it to us.

Purchases may be returned if a buyer decides they do not want the item they ordered but there is a 10% Restocking Fee if the item is returned simply because a buyer has changed their mind about the purchase. The Buyer is responsible for shipping fees and insurance for both ways in this type of return. This is only in place to discourage buyer's regret.

If arrangements have been made where the buyer needs to try an item on or if the buyer needs to see an item to know if it works for them then, as long as this is discussed before the order is placed (with the exception of precious gems), the buyer is only responsible for shipping and insurance costs both ways and will be given a full refund of the purchase price once the item has been returned in it's original condition.

If an item(s) ships for free, our costs for shipping, insurance, etc. will not be refunded and the cost for shipping Express Mail orders, requested by a customer, will not be refunded.

Other Information:
There are no refunds on Layaway purchases. We offer a flexible layaway plan and by agreement, between our shop and the customer, payments are expected in a timely manner. If payments are not made in a timely manner the merchandise will be placed back in inventory for sale after 30 days of the last money request is put in place. There will be no refunds issued at that point.

Please remember you are in a bound contract when you purchase merchandise through our layaway program.
