Stunning Color being as rich and intense as a gem with a lovely luminosity. This is one of our favorite colors in Opaline glass as it is many collectors.

It has a footed base and nice two part bulbous form.

There is a front S shaped clasp and back hinge. Both work properly without problems.

The glass has Dore Bronze mounts that have a nice shine with a bit of patina.

The top is the icing on the cake with hand painted Scarlet Poppies & White Daisies. A sweet butterfly flits above the flora.

The Opaline caddy is 4" across by 3" high. It is in excellent condition without chips or cracks with stray air bubbles. It has a polished pontil. Ca. early to mid 1800's
