Housed in one of the most unique cases with a large top, fittings for the spoons to sit upwards on their sides, and a darling handle for the clasp.
There is no damage to the spoons just very light surface wear.
The blue velvet is quite worn but the interior satin is in excellent condition. It has a blue ribbon attached to the interior of the lid which is embossed in gold: J.F. Ciering, Nazareth, PA.
The six (6) spoons measures 5 3/4" in length and the box measures 7" by 4 1/2". They carry Whiting Silver Company mark and initials L N on the back of the spoon handles. The pattern Lilly of the Valley was produced in 1885.
