The base is two large horns mounted to the stand made of horn.

The colors on this are fantastic. Ranging from Blond to a deep mahogany brown with awesome shades of red to yellow.

This piece is so well crafted it stands upright without support which seems to be quite the feat on its own accord.

One side is made to appear as if the wind is blowing against it while the other side is straight. Talk about pure craftsmanship and knowing how to balance a magnificent piece.

There are several small hand crafted boats attached through out the large ship.

The sails are abundant as are the "flying" flags.

This is from my own private collection and I have displayed this in several areas: on a wall shelf, in a cabinet, and on a table top with other Nautical themed items. Never have I exposed this to any major change in temperature or direct sunlight.

Each piece is attached together with lines of string (rigging). Some of the larger areas have brass head tacks that the string has been strung around to secure the pieces in place.

The Ship measures 23" by 17" wide. A one of a kind gorgeous piece that is sure to please.
