The Wax wedding Crown or Bridal Wreath is smothered in star shaped flowers in different shades of peach that match the Ormolu buttons.

There is a spray of pink wax flowers in the center of the Bridal Wreath. It still retains the satin wrap & banding and is in excellent condition.

The Wedding Crown Holder has two mirrors one centered at the top and one at the bottom. The bottom one has a bit of darkening but nothing distracting and both are without cracks or chips. The top mirror is gorgeous in a elongated diamond shape and the one seen the most.

On the top of this mirror is the Peace Dove with the ring or wedding band in his mouth. Surrounding the mirror are two large Ormolu leaves and 3 flowers. At the base are four leaves extended from the bottom mirror and one flower. The tufted seat has 3 additional Ormolu flowers. Some of the gilt on the lower flowers and leaves is missing.

The Scarlet velvet, tufted, crown holder pillow is mounted within a stand of Ormolu Prince of Wales Feathers alternating with flowing scrolled leaves. It has lost a bit of the "fluff" from the velvet but still is a lovely shade of red. The peach and pink wax flowers harmonize with the coloring of the Scarlet in a most delightful way.

The Glass Cloche is in excellent condition without any damage. The measurements to fit inside the Cloche is 12 1/2" by 8". If the Cloche is not used the Globe De Mariee's full spread is several inches higher and wider.

The Globe De Mariee looks charming inside the Cloche and will stay protected from the elements under the Cloche. A base could be made to fit on the bottom of the Cloche but it sits flat on any surface so there is no real need for a bottom piece.

A gorgeous rare example of French Victorian traditions long lost to the present way of presentations of wedding accessories. These were most treasured and were for keepsakes of that special day in a woman's life. Her bridal wreath and other mementos were laid upon the pillow for her & friends to admire and enjoy during her life time. Many items were lost or broken when passing from one generation to the next so these are indeed very precious to find in the present day.
