Lovely & Rare Teapot with sweet pink Roses, signed by the renowned artist Agnes Rynne.

The top area has a pie crust edge and the bottom has points for a multitude of feet that surround the edge with embossed dots above the feet. The top, bottom and lid have a soft glow of lavender.

The finial has a solid gold top while the handle and edges are trimmed in gold. The lid edge has an embossed feather design.

The front has a large rose with 2 bent roses and several rose buds laying upon lush greenery. The back has one large open rose with 4 other roses in varying degrees of opening.

The handle and spout are in a soft cream color. The teapot has a Satin Finish.

The signature of A. Rynne (Agnes Rynne) is found on the bottom right of the front by the hand painted roses.

It is 7 1/2" tall by 8 1/2" across and is in excellent condition. The pictures are tilted the pot is not. :0)

Agnes Rynne began selling white porcelain from her basement to promote porcelain decorating. She made her first trip to Japan in 1949 and was the first woman to negotiate over the bargaining table for white porcelain. She negotiated in Germany to import Dresden German paints and brushes." While in Germany she displayed her talents for porcelain painting before the many German factories". She was a pioneer for many of today's finest China Painters.
