"PARIS, La Basilique du Sacre-Coeur et l'Escalier onumental" is the scene on this Grand Tour Casket. It has lovely aged patina from the early to mid 19th Century.

It still retains the inner red lining, which are usually silk and starting to shatter, so we believe this is a newer lining.

It has a scroll and leaf design on the sides and stands on four, outward facing feet, which could use a bit of cleaning.

The glass has no chips and just a cloudy appearance that is very light in a couple of areas. The scene is still very clear to view.

It is in great condition and measures 1 3/4" high by 2 7/8" wide by 2 1/4" deep.

Lovely piece of the Grand Tour history to add to your collection.
