The chains have double links. They need hooks. This has full hallmarks with the makers mark, London, letter M for the year 1887. 5 Hallmarks in all. The top heart shaped piece measures 1 7/8" x 1 1/2". The full size of the clip measures 2 1/2". The chains drop 4" from the clip.
