A beautifully hand-painted china open salt cellar, exterior color mauve/pink accented with gold, and a white lustreware interior. Measures 1-3/4" in diameter and stands 1" tall at its high points. The bottom is stamped with "Leonard Vienna Austria" which is one of the trademarks for P.H. Leonard (Importers & Distributors, New York circa 1890-1908)and there is also a gold painted W, painter's signature. P.H. Leonard was a major importer of mostly Bohemian, German & French porcelains from 1884 to 1908.
