Beautiful hand painted design of water and mountains on the inside, measuring 0.75” high. The underside bears a green M in wreath marked Hand Painted Nippon which was the trademark for Noritake-Morimura Bros.(Japan) Circa 1890's-1921. This beautiful salt cellar is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, scratches or repairs. This salt can be referenced in the "5,000 Open Salts" collectors guide, by Heacock & Johnson, (salt # 1475 ) as Available (will be seen from time to time) @ $25-35
