Lovely hand painted oval porcelain individual salt cellar showing a tranquil river scene with tilted up ends, measuring 3/4" tall and 2 1/4" x 3 3/4". This piece has a gray-blue luster finish on the rims and a beautifully rendered hand painted river scene in the center with a honey yellow sunset, a point of land with bright green trees and grasses, bluish purple and green shrubbery. This beautiful item does show some paint wear, but otherwise is in very good condition, with no scratches, nicks, chips or repairs and bears the marks "Hand Painted" "Made in Japan" and a trademark that resembles the "Japanese Import" stamp that was used from 1920-1930 I. Also included is a green glass spoon with twisted handle measuring approximately 2.25". This beautiful salt cellar & spoon would make a nice addition to any collection
