SOLD Victor Topper 1920-30’s Gumball Machine

Here is an early Victor Topper gum machine in original condition. The machine has the more rare type of round shaped 5 ½” diameter glass globe. It has a cast iron base, steel body with the original orange paint, and original decal on the globe. The only parts that have been replaced are the lock at the top and the center threaded rod that the lock screws on to.

The good news is that this is an original vintage machine in good working condition. The bad news is that its glass globe has a lengthwise crack on one side from top to bottom. The globe is still very solid and the crack isn’t very noticeable but it’s still there. Also, although the internal mechanism really should be replaced, it’s dirty and a bit rusty but it does all work just fine.

Overall this antique machine displays very well as is but I believe that it wouldn’t be too difficult to restore it to its original condition if desired. The gumballs pictured are included in the sale.
