This is a cigar label proof for Arthur Donaldson pilsen Cuban cigars made in the 1920’s. A proof is one part of creating a chromolithograph label and one of the rarest pieces of cigar label art you can collect. Only a few proof sets are ever created for each cigar label. This label was made by Heywood, Strasser, and Voight Litho Co. in New York.

This proof measures 12 ½” by 9 ½” and has been professionally framed. The frame has an antique gold finish with a clear glass front. It measures 19” by 16”. Both the label and frame are in excellent condition.
