Also included in this catalog are detailed sections on many of the accessories and features including; Carbide head lamps, bells, sirens, horns, the Sturmey Archer Three Speed Hub, Famous Armless Peerless Coaster Brake and more.
The company’s flagship model in 1915 is the Motor-Chief which is a true bicycle and doesn’t actually have a motor but it does have three speeds with a shifter making it the “most advanced type of bicycle construction known” according to this catalog. Also included in the catalogue is a picture and description of the 1915 Sears 9 HP De Luxe Twin motorcycle.
This is a beautiful catalog for anyone interested in vintage and antique bicycles. The catalog is complete, original and solidly intact but it does have some dust staining on the covers as well as some rippling and a minor trace of damp staining visible mostly confined to the lower right hand margins. There are a couple small spots were pages stuck together resulting in a bit of peel off when separated but this damage is limited to only in couple small spots. This catalog does not have a mildew problem and isn’t otherwise water damaged. Overall condition is very good.
