SALE Spectacular Daffodil Trembler with Enamel Brooch 1940s Signed

Daffodils in Jackson Square in the spring is what this flower brooch brings to Frenchy's thoughts. It has good enamel with no chips and the trembler is functioning. The trembler is topped by a sapphire blue rhinestone teardrop. I did notice that one of the prongs on the trembler stone is missing. There is a tiny bit of wear where the trembler has rubbed inside the back of the flower petal but this is not immediately apparent to the eye. All rhinestones that embellish the edges of the flower top and the leaves are present. I believe the piece is gold washed and all the finish is present. There is a mark on the back of the brooch that appears to be the number 6 which may be a stonesetter's mark. See photos.

A very large and heavy brooch this one is very dimensional. It weighs 4 ounces and measures 2 3/4 inches wide and 2 1/2 inches tall.
