SALE Ora Designer Signed Faux Ruby & Rhinestone Necklace

Ora Creations is a mark that has been used since the early 1940s for the Ralph Singer Company of Chicago which was sold in 1984. They are known for fashion jewelry but are also known for making the tiaras for Mardi Gras Queens here in New Orleans. You can find this info on the Ralph Singer Company website. As fashion costume jewelry became more important they advertised in Vogue and other fashion magazines. This is a beautiful example of their handmade jewelry from the 1940s-1950s era. The necklace I believe is rhodium plated with faux open back set rubies and clear rhinestones. The fluidity of the chain makes this a exceptional piece of jewelry and easy to wear. All the stones are present and this necklace looks as though it was never worn. There are no darkening stones. The size is 15 3/4 inches. The clasp is also set with white rhinestones and is tight. The Ora signature is on the back of the middle flower.
