Gasoline can in hand, the chauffeur salutes! He is ready for an outing in this new marvel called the automobile! This is a real photo postcard, postmarked 1908, that has been color tinted by hand. A super job of that, too, as you can see how rich the blue is on the woman's scarf and coat trip. The French text at bottom says: Today it's it the auto and the morose breakdown. The chauffeur in his bear coat, image of Progress! A wonderful antique image for the collector, in overall near mint condition for a postally sent card!
