The postmark has long faded on this cute French postcard, but the undivided back dates this card for us: printed in 1903 or earlier! This harlequin figure is a hard-to-find card -- especially hard to find in good condition with its light colored background. This card is not perfect but all things considered, a real treasure. Gotta love that hat! Perhaps she is dressed for carnvial?

Although not dated postally, the undivided back on this charming rocking horse series tells us that these cards were printed in 1903 or earlier. The series is not complete, but these four convey the story of "Baby's Horse" and how she will take care of it -- even cleaning up after nature's call! No creases but there are a few worn spots.
