The accent is on green in this batch of original French perfume labels. Most of my labels are from the 1930s and '40s, but I think the huge green striped label could even be as old as the 1920s. It's such a strong Art Deco geometric design (it measures 4-1/2 by just over 3-1/4 inches!) The Violette Mauve label with the ferns and violets in the gold leaf vase is just beautiful. This is one of my favorite little sets of perfume labels. The design is just so delicate with the pastel green and gold leaf. Most of my perfume labels are from the '30s and '40s but I believe these labels are older because the design is quite Art Nouveau. The larger label measures almost 1-3/4 by 2-1/4 inches. These labels are in overall mint condition. Fine print in the white border says Louis Plouviez, Paris.

One can't get more classic than the black, white and red combination. That's what this batch of perfume labels is all about. The huge Eau de Cologne Superieure, Parfumeur Paris label at top right measures just over 4-1/2 by 3-1/4 inches. Most of these labels are in mint condition. Some show the slightest signs of wear. The "au boa" label has some yellowing at the edges and the red accented rectangular Eau de Cologne has ripples and a water stain.
