Our Service Pledge To You:
When you make a purchase, I email you regarding receipt of your purchase order, total owed, payment received, and delivery of your package.

In addition to emailing you the status of your purchase order, I also keep the status on-line in your account. Just click on "My Account" and on "Purchase Orders" to see the current status of your purchase.

Note, there is up to a two-week delay in shipping when paid with a personal check. However, I will provide a shipping date so you know when you can expect your item.

NOTE: LAYAWAY is available for item(s) totaling $300 or more. Before purchasing an item on layaway, contact me for the contract. I will not accept a layaway if you do not agree with the contract.

Return Policy
Ruby Lane and each of its independent shops want you to be satisfied with your purchase. To ensure your satisfaction and for the protection of both the buyer and shop owner, we have a Return Policy that each Ruby Lane shop owner honors. View Return Policy now.

Shipping/Handling/Insurance Policy:
I include shipping costs on all items mailed within the USA, but check the item description for details.

If shipping is extra, I base the cost on weight and destination. In very rare instances, I may have to charge for shipping materials, but that is not my standard practice.

Insurance and delivery confirmation are included in the total shipping cost, whenever possible, except for postcards or some low cost items shipped in an envelope. If you purchase a postcard and wish it insured, I will have to ship it Priority and that cost is extra to the customer. Any item uninsured is at the risk of the buyer.

USA Addresses - I usually ship USPS Priority Mail with the exception of items that I can safely send in a padded envelope, 1st Class. PLEASE NOTE: Because of increased shipping costs for large or heavy boxes, I will ship Parcel Post if the cost is significantly lower than Priority. The post office adds a surcharge for all boxes they consider large, therefore, I have opted to ship the less expensive method. These packages will be insured with Delivery Confirmation. If you opt for a non-insured method of shipping your package, it is at your risk.

Outside the USA - I ship Global Express Mail or Airmail Letter Post (limited to certain items such as costume jewelry). I will ship 1st Class International if you prefer and if the weight is such that fits within the US Post Office perimeters. I prefer shipping all my packages insured to protect my customers' investment. However, If you opt for a non-insured method of shipping your package, it is at your risk. NOTE: You are responsible for any additional expenses you incur as a result of items shipped to your country, including taxes, duty or other fees. I will not falsify Customs forms.

Restocking Fee:
I charge 15% re-stocking fee on all items returned.

Other Information:
I must receive payment within 10 business days of purchase. After that time, the item will return to my shop and be available to other customers.

Although, I accept personal checks, they are limited to USA-drawn banks only. Make payable to Linda Wulfestieg. There is a $30 returned check fee.

I do not accept cashier's checks of any kind.

USA Buyers - I prefer PayPal* (you can use your credit card on PayPal) and Postal Money Orders, and I will accept personal checks.

Outside the USA - I prefer PayPal* . I accept International Money Orders in US currency and Western Union cash (see ATTN: below for details).

* If you do not have a Confirmed Address, I have the option to accept or deny your payment.

Regarding postal money orders - I only accept postal money orders - postal money orders are purchased at your local post office.

ATTN: Please note, I now accept Western Union cash - The only type Western Union payment I accept is the kind that I pick up at my local Western Union agent. If you have questions about this payment, please email me.
