Boudoir Dolls, Silent Film Stars, Other Collectibles
This is a group of photographs, dating from 1910s - 1940s, of mostly silent film actresses. Some, I believe, were stage performers, as well as stars well into the talkies, such as Loretta Young. The photographs are in varying conditions, but overall very good condition as follows:
Loretta Young - this old photograph of Loretta Young is in very good condition for its age, despite being trimmed. It measures 7 7/8" x 9 1/4". The back has a stain (see scan) and is handwritten Loretta Young 40s.
Pola Negri - This 5" x 7" photograph of Pola Negri dates to the 1920's and is in very good condition. The signature appears to be printed on the photograph.
Marian Dixon - This 6 1/2" x 8 1/2" photograph of Marian Nixon dates to the 1920's and is in very good condition despite corner bends. The signature appears to be a combination of original and printed-on the photograph. The signature reads "Best Wishes to you Marian Nixon". The "to you" is lighter and appears to be added. Being I'm not an autograph expert, I cannot tell for sure. Therefore, I've priced this photograph accordingly.
May McAvoy -This 5" x 7" original photograph of May McAvoy is in very good condition, having bent corners. The signature is printed in the photograph.
Lois Wilson - This 5 x not quite 7" photograph of Lois Wilson is original and dates to the 1920's. The signature is printed on the photograph. The photograph, given its age, is in very good condition with the corner tips bent.
Esther Ralston - This 5" x 7" original photograph of Esther Ralston dates to the 1920's and is in very good condition. The signature may be part of the photograph.
Betty Bronson - This 5" x 7 1/4" photograph of Betty Bronson is original and dates to the 1920's. I am not an autograph expert and cannot tell if it's an original signature. Actors not only signed themselves, but studio staff as well as using stamps. Because I do not have any certificate of authenticity of the signature, I can only present this photograph as you see it. It may be printed on the photograph. It is stamped in back by the studio. The photograph is in very good condition.
Leigh DeLacy - This 5 /4" x 6 3/4" photograph is original of Leigh DeLacy, who apparently worked with the Elmer Stock Company. The photograph is in very good condition for its age. It dates to the 1910's.
Bessie Overton - This 5" x 6 1/2" photograph is original of Bessie Overton, who apparently worked with the Adam Good Company. The photograph is in very good condition for its age. In small print is "Hennegan Vivi Photo, Cincinnati, O." It dates to the 1910's.
NOTE: The free shipping is 1st class/Uninsured in a flat envelope (cardboard will protect from bending). If you wish to ship insured, it must be shipped Priority - this cost is extra. If you wish the free shipping, please opt out of insurance when submitting your purchase order.
