Crystal Casket Shaped Like Treasure Chest

This is a beautiful and impressive piece of crystal. It has been in my collection for a few years. The chest is in very good condition, however, while taking photos, I discovered either a flaw in the crystal or a nick in the left side of the front of the lid. I thought it was smudge, but when I ran my fingernail over it to remove it, it didn't go away and felt rough.

I do not see any cracks nor is there anything loose; the hinges are in ever so slightly tarnished shape which is to be expected with age. I do not see a maker's mark, however, it resembles Baccarat in design with starburst cut at base.

This beautiful crystal casket weighs almost 6 pounds! and measures 7" wide x 4 1/2" deep x 5 1/4" tall at the tallest point of the curved lid.

I've enjoyed this "treasure chest" very much, and I'm sure you will too.
