This lovely Capodimonte 1973 Christmas plate features a charming relief molded design of cherubs or angels surrounded by trees and flowers, in the center. It is nicely framed with a one inch wide rim design with Christmas bells in a rich burgundy, with ribbons and sprigs of greenery, on both sides, and Christmas !973 in raised letters top and bottom. The rim and inner border or hand applied gold. It is in excellent condition and measures 7 ½” across, with a wire hanger on the back. It is a limited edition, number 704 out of 1000, and is fully marked with a crown and shield, R.Capodimonte, patented in Italy.
